BASICS North West are pleased to announce that we will be in attendance at this years 999 Open Day at the Trafford Centre!

The fifth annual Emergency Services Open Day will take place at intu Trafford Centre on Thursday August 6th 2015 between 10am and 4pm. The event will be on the car parks close to the entrance to the Food Hall.

BASICS North West will be alongside their partners the North West Ambulance Service (NWAS) and throughout the day will be joined by the wider blue light emergency service community in the form ofGreater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS), Greater Manchester Police (GMP) as well as a wide range of other emergency response, community safety and support services.

The last ‘999 Day’ in 2014 saw in excess of 165 displays made up of emergency vehicles, vintage appliances, demonstrations and displays. The event was attended by over 10,000 people.


This event is free and we encourage as many people as possible to come along and look at, and take part in, the displays . Members of all the emergency services as well as BASICS North West members will be on hand to answer your questions.
